Step Two
Contact me with your request. I'm happy to discuss anything with you and make suggestions about what will work best in a painting of your pet and options that work best for your decor and budget. Also send your photos via e-mail (as high resolution as possible) or via regular mail (they will be returned to you unharmed).
If you are in the Houston area, I am available for in-person consultations to meet your dog(s) and review photos and materials. Additional fees may apply depending on your location or if you need me to take photographs for the painting.

Before the Photography Session
Contact me with:
- What you'd like to see out of your photographs (such as poses or traits of your pet's personality).
- When and where you want to do the photo session.

During the Photography Session
This is where the process varies the most from client to client because animals' behavior can be unpredictable around new people and around a camera. We always begin by introducing me to the pet so they can get used to me and learn that they can trust me. Following this, I will begin the photography session. For various reasons, sometimes the animals are very cooperative, sometimes they're not. If they're not, I will try to determine the reasons for this so I/we can try to fix the issue. It may be necessary for me to ask you to go out of the pet's line of sight in case your presence might be affecting their behavior.
If your pet has a favorite toy or treat, please bring them to help capture their attention when we want him/her to look in a particular direction.
